SEE: When a player matches or calls the last player’s wager it is called see the bet.
SHOWDOWN: The time when the players disclose their cards to establish the winner.

STREAK: When a player gets a series of good or bad hands continually.
STUD: A game in which each player is dealt a card or cards facedown followed by up cards.
SUITED: Cards in any one suit.
TELL: The nuances of a player that gives away a player’s poker hand.
TIGHT: A cautious player. Normally he only lays a wager if he has a good hand. See Loose.
TURN: The fourth card that is disclosed in a community game. See Fourth Street.
UNSUITED: Cards from different suits.
UP CARDS: When a card is disclosed to all players.
WIRED: A pair in the pocket. Let us say, a player has two down cards that are Kings, in a stud poker game, it is called having ‘Kings wired’.
TRIPS: Three cards of one type.
